Some folks say, (probably the ones who
don't have animals) that cats do not have emotions. That's rubbish! Standoffishness,
the need for aloneness, being aloof...This is not proof that emotions do not exist.
These naysayers would tell you the cat
shows its affection when it has a need, namely food. But then, and pet-owners know this, how would one explain cats (dogs too) walking so many miles to get home, risking their lives along the way?
