My mother's mother, Sara. My hearing impaired Grandma. We had our way of talking.I wrote notes on paper.Grandma read them. She kept tons of various pens/pencils on her table and scrap paper in her desk for me, and we conversed that way.She answered me aloud. We went on for hours.
I told her I would only wear the stinkin shirt for this picture. See how stiff my arms are.That shirt was a disaster.

I didn't know the poodle I got as a child wasn't from an aunt but rather from my birth mother. I said I'd name it Suzette if it was a girl (it was), Pierre if it was a boy. The aunt said 'you had no way of knowing- but the woman I got her from named the parents of this poodle: '' Suzette and Pierre.'' I am 17 holding ''Suzy.'' She died of heart failure a few weeks later- St. Patricks day.

I made this with bamboo, and beads.Here's a portion of it. The round vine was completely round. You can see half of it. When Howie could walk, he found it, and lifted it off a stump intact. See it (half of it,bottom right photo)?
